The base is made from heavy-duty die-cast metal. It is "Plug & Play" with the UPS shipping software. It comes with all the necessary cables. The UPS software has a driver specifically for this scale so it is easy to set-up. Just plug it in and the scale will send the weight of a parcel to the PC for rating.
